My stepson’s birthday

It gets hectic around our house when there are birthdays and holidays.  My stepson turned 14 this past week.  We had a party for him at our house, he got another party at his biological father's house, then a special party for him and his friends (we split the bill with his Dad) at a local GameWorks.  When I turned 14 I think my parents got me a yoyo and some Yankee Doodles with a candle in it.  Times have changed!  My wife (his mother) and I are also a taxi service for this and other occasions.  It all turned out good, but HECTIC is a word that comes to mind whenever these events take place.
